Obama Wants to Write a Childrens' book

When I found out that he is writing a children’s book, I just about blew my top. While I am searching for a job in a 9.5% unemployment environment he is making six figures from our taxes. What sort of world does this guy live in?

Pretty much the last thing any child needs is advice or mentoring from a politician. I can assure you that no politician since Lincoln would even meet the minimum qualifications for teaching my child a value that I would want my kids to have.

Even more importantly the role of the sitting president is not to write literature, for children or adults. Nor is the role of the president to attend talk shows and give speeches to the Olympic committee. He flew to Europe and cost the tax payers millions of dollars in an attempt to get the Olympics in his hometown.

On the one hundredth anniversary of the Boy Scouts he was on the talk show the View and at a fund raiser. It is my understanding that he was too busy for a centennial anniversary because he was raising money and talking about himself. That should give us insight on who President Obama is and what are his primary concerns.

I know a portion of the funds are going to help wounded vets, but I want him to say “Our military needs a raise and all the money will go to the wounded veterans.” He profits from his office just as much as if he was selling a night stay in the White House.

I hope that when the time comes to elect someone to Congress that you remember that many of them are in lock step with a guy who has as his greatest priority;

Not winning a war or getting the government's hand out of our pockets, but

Writing a book.

That is sad.
